(HealthDay News) -- Getting fit doesn't have to mean a financial investment or even a travel commitment.
Your home and nearby services may do just fine as exercise venues, the Weight-control Information Network says. It offers this advice:
- Take a hike on a trail near your home. Or jog around the track at the local high school.
- Do some squats or arm curls to build muscle. Use books, soup cans or gallon bottles of water as weights.
- Do regular household chores, such as raking leaves, mowing the grass or cleaning the house.
