Health Tip: When Feet Sweat

By Diana Kohnle, HealthDay Reporter

(HealthDay News) -- Everyone's feet sweat, but for some people the wetness and odor are a bigger problem.

The American Podiatric Medical Association suggests how to deal with sweaty feet:

  • Wash feet every day.

  • Dry feet thoroughly, especially between the toes.

  • Apply a foot powder, cornstarch or antifungal powder.

  • Wear synthetic, moisture-wicking socks, not all-cotton socks.

  • Change socks during the day to keep feet dry.
