(HealthDay News) -- Hamstring injury causes pain and discomfort in the back of the thigh. You can reduce your chances of developing this injury by avoiding common risk factors.
The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons offers this list of things to avoid:
- Overloaded or tight muscles.
- Muscle strength imbalance.
- Poorly conditioned or fatigued muscles.
